You’ll likely encounter loud animals, the freshest urine or poop imaginable, slimy slobber, and visual lessons on procreation. Photos and videos are for personal use only. We cannot control the mood of the animals, so no guarantees on the level of interaction they will allow. This is for the safety of both you and our Highlands. We generally do not go inside any of the paddocks with our adult highlands. On this tour, we wil l make every effort to let you feed treats to the cows, have hands on interaction with the calves *when available* and sheep, and take lots of selfie's and videos. The fencing is electric, so do not touch the wires. The tour involves about a ¼ mile walk through hilly terrain and grass pathways. You are welcome to hang out in the gazebo until we connect. We will meet you at the gazebo as soon as we are available. Please park by the black gazebo when you arrive.Įarly arrivals are fine, but we may be finishing another tour or project. This is our personal farm, please be respectful in all areas. This design also allows us to easily rotate our Highlands for optimized grazing, and on occasion you may even get to join in on the fun of moving them from one field to another. We have fenced pathways creating a horseshoe shape through 7 different paddocks or fields, which give our guests the opportunity to see, and interact with the Scottish Highland cattle, and Valais Sheep no matter what field they are occupying. This is to prevent scammers from attempting to "book a tour" with you using our farm name. We will not accept payment through cashapp, venmo, zelle, etc. We only collect payment through our own stripe account, the link will be provided once we email you. This tour is typically 1.5 hours long to allow you the time needed to really pick our brains. We are an open book and will share what we have found, through trial and error, to be the most efficient and helpful to "get the job done". See our facilities, equipment, and the current farm layout.
